Fifty percent of physicians surveyed “strongly disagreed” with the question, “As a physician, do you feel that allowing advanced practice nurses more autonomy, including prescribing on their own, should become a law?” Sixteen percent of respondents “somewhat disagreed” with the question.
On the other hand, 16 percent of respondents “strongly agreed” and 18 percent “somewhat agreed” with the question.
More than 400 physicians responded to the survey, according to a news release.
