Rural Physicians Group to enter investment partnership with Sorenson Capital, Leavitt Equity Partners

Las Vegas-based Rural Physicians Group announced Tuesday an agreement to enter a strategic investment partnership with Salt Lake City-based private equity firm Sorenson Capital and Salt Lake City-based healthcare private equity fund Leavitt Equity Partners.

Rural Physicians Group matches hospitalists with hospitals to help reduce patient transfer and provide accessible care in rural areas. The partnership will help the group grow and expand its reach.
