The newly established Rex Neurosurgery and Spine Specialists includes three neurosurgeons who previously practiced at Raleigh Neurosurgical Clinic and have practiced at Rex Hospital for several years.
The Rex Neurosurgery and Spine Specialists physicians plan to collaborate with oncologists at Rex Cancer Center to enhance treatments available to patients with brain and spine cancers. They also will work with their counterparts at the UNC Department of Neurosurgery to provide more patients with access to novel therapies and clinical trials, including personalized, genetic medicine, according to the health system.
