Providence Health & Services’ Medical Group Acquires Primary Care Practice

Providence Medical Group, the physician arm of Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services, has acquired Advanced Medical Care in Santa Clarita, Calif., according to a KHTS report.

The acquisition is part of Providence’s continued expansion into the Santa Clarita Valley area. The system operates Providence Holy Cross Health Center in Valencia, Calif., and plans to open a 138-bed expansion of its Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, Calif., early next year, according to the report.

Advanced Medical Care is comprised of two physicians and three physician assistants.
