Pennsylvania’s Excela Health to Hire 16 Physicians

Greensburg, Pa.-based Excela Health plans to add 16 physicians in 2012 and create 24 immediate openings for full-time nurses, according to a Pittsburgh Business Times report.

Excela has also restructured its per diem nurse staffing pool, which officials expect will convert 50 temporary staff nurses to permanent positions. In addition, hospital staff have received a salary increase of 2 percent, effective in October.
