The new venture, called Grace-Penn Medicine Concierge Service, offers patients in Monaco and from around the world access to innovative new treatments in medicine.
“This expanded relationship not only benefits patients by providing unprecedented access to leading-edge specialized care, but also provides a forum for the direct exchange of innovative research ideas and collaborative opportunities across both institutions,” said J. Larry Jameson, MD, PhD, executive vice president of the University of Pennsylvania Health System and dean of the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
In 2013, Penn Medicine hosted His Serene Highness Albert II, Prince of Monaco and the son of the late Princess Grace, during an event to celebrate collaboration on educational initiatives and clinical protocols in cardiovascular medicine and oncology. With the creation of Grace-Penn Medicine Concierge Services, the institutions will expand the alliance across the full spectrum of medical care.
As the only public hospital in the Principality of Monaco, Princess Grace Hospital’s services address health and social concerns by offering personalized healthcare treatment and hotel services. Today, it is regarded as a global leader in the treatment of arrhythmia and atrial fibrillation.
