The Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust funnels all funds earned from tobacco lawsuits back into the state’s healthcare system, through grants and programs that improve the health of its residents. It aims to reduce leading causes of preventable death, including cancer and heart disease, with a focus on tobacco use prevention and obesity prevention.
