Xavier University of Louisiana and Ochsner Health’s new joint medical school, Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine, has named its inaugural leadership team and more than 200 faculty members.
The appointments include deans overseeing key areas such as education, clinical affairs, health equity and research, according to a Nov. 12 news release.
The faculty includes leaders from both Xavier University of Louisiana and Ochsner Health. Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine. The medical school also formed its faculty assembly and created standing committees to guide admissions, curriculum and faculty appointments.
