North Dakota Primary Care Practice Merges With Sanford Health-MeritCare

Southeast Medical Center, a primary care practice with seven locations based in Oakes, N.D., has officially merged with Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health-MeritCare, according to a MeritCare news release.

The practice has been renamed MeritCare Oakes. Sanford Health-MeritCare will now employ Southeast’s 55 employees, but there will be no immediate changes in services.

The partnership is intended to expand Sanford Health-MeritCare’s collaborative network of providers, according to the release.
