New Mexico Hospital Starts $20.3 Million Construction

Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, N.M., is set to begin several new expansion projects that will cost more than $20 million, according to Las Cruces Sun-News.

These projects will expand its critical care unit, add a third catheterization laboratory and add tomotherapy capability to the Ikard Cancer Treatment Center.

The expansion is expected to add or renovate more than 25,000 square feet of property at the hospital and create 50 new jobs, according to the story.
