The New Hampshire Citizens Health Initiative is receiving a grant to bolster a five-year project in which the Initiative will turn groups of hospitals and other healthcare facilities into accountable care organizations, according to a Boston Globe report.
The $250,000 grant is from the Princeton, N.J.-based Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The Initiative’s project, titled the ACO Pilot Project, was announced last year and is a collaborative project administered by the New Hampshire Institute for Health Policy at the University of New Hampshire.
