GMS specializes in making temporary healthcare assignments across the globe. Under the CHG Healthcare Services portfolio, GMS will join two other locum tenens companies: Salt Lake City-based CompHealth and Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Weatherby Healthcare.
“We’re excited to combine our expertise in international and domestic staffing with the experience and resources of CHG. CHG founded the locum tenens industry in the United States and we took that model and applied it overseas,” Global Medical Staffing CEO, Robert Stringham, said in a press release. “In addition to their successful business model, we’ve long been impressed by CHG’s culture and look forward to being a part of it.”
