Montana’s St. Vincent Healthcare Purchases Interest in Frontier Cancer Center

Billings, Mt.-based St. Vincent Healthcare has bought an interest in the five-physician Frontier Cancer Center, also in Billings, according to a Billings Gazette report.

St. Vincent Healthcare bought 50 percent of the center’s building and land for $3.3 million and will take over operations of the center, according to the report.

In the new business agreement, the cancer center will be renamed St. Vincent Frontier Cancer Center and its five physicians will remain independent, according to the report. The center’s nurses and other healthcare professionals will become St. Vincent employees, according to the report.
