Minnesota Medical Center Merger Complete

Falls Memorial Hospital and the Duluth Clinic – International Falls, both located in International Falls, Minn., have completed their integration into to the new Rainy Lake Medical Center, according to a report from The Daily Journal.

The merger, which will be official July 1, began in Aug. 2007 and took two years to complete. Officials from the center said that the motivation for the merger was to combine forces to provide better patient care for the community.
