The purchase price was not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to close before 2011. Michigan heart employees 326 and has eight offices in Southeast Michigan.
In October, St. Joseph Mercy, which operates seven hospitals, agreed to merge with IHA, a 150-physician group. That deal is also expected to close by Dec. 31.
