The “sweeping payment reform plan” is intended to rein in healthcare costs, but opponents of the measure have concerns about whether the program would hurt the state’s smaller hospitals and how exactly it would be funded.
The proposal would help move reimbursements in the sate from fee-for-service to global payments.
