Large Primary Care Group Joins Henry Ford’s Physician Network

Infinity Primary Care has joined the Henry Ford Physician Network, part of Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System, according to a news release by the health system.

Kevin Deighton, MD, president of the 52-physician practice, will join the Henry Ford Physician Network board of directors.

The network includes the Henry Ford Medical Group, regional hospital-employed physicians and private practice physicians that work with the health system to improve efficiency and healthcare value, according to the report.

Initial plans are for the Henry Ford network and Infinity to partner with Henry Ford West Bloomfield (Mich.) Hospital on programs focused on quality and efficiency, such as improving care for patients with diabetes and reducing patient readmissions.
