Judge Rules California’s Ventura County Must Bargain With Physician Union

An administrative law judge has ruled that Ventura County, Calif., must negotiate with the Union of American Physicians and Dentists for county physician contracts, according to a UAPD release.

According to the UAPD, the county recognized the union as the physicians’ bargaining unit in 2010 but later refused to bargain with the union.

The judge’s ruling requires the county to begin good-faith negotiations with the UAPD.
