St. Elizabeth Regional Health in Lafayette, Ind., part of Franciscan Alliance, has signed a formal letter of intent to acquire Monticello (Ind.) Medical Center, a four-physician medical group, according to a Journal & Courier report.
Physicians at Monticello Medical will join Sigma Medical Group, which is affiliated with St. Elizabeth.
The purchase agreement is expected to be finalized within two weeks, according to the report.
