Sachin H. Jain, MD, and Amol Navathe, MD, PhD, will publish the first issue of Health Care: The Journal of Delivery Science and Innovation next summer.

Dr. Jain was senior advisor to former CMS Administrator, Donald Berwick, MD. Dr. Jain now practices at VA Boston and holds posts with Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Navathe was a medical officer in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation. He practices at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and holds posts with Harvard Medical School and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

The physicians said the scholarly magazine will fill a noticeable gap in healthcare policy research. “There’s so much change in the world [of] healthcare right now, but there aren’t a lot of venues to publish about that change,” Dr. Jain said in the report.
