Once the organizations reach a final affiliation agreement, HMH will become ETMC Henderson.
Henderson Memorial elected to affiliate with ETMC after several months of considering proposals from other healthcare organizations. While the Henderson Memorial was financially stable, it felt that finding another organization to affiliate with would be best for its community in the long term.
An affiliation is expected to address the following issues, according to the press release: "Ongoing community participation through the local hospital board, clinical equipment enhancements, information technology upgrades, a long-term facility plan, employee retention and benefits, and physician recruitment and retention."
