Doctors’ Hospital of Michigan, Crittenton Hospital Enter Into GME Affiliation Agreement

Doctors’ Hospital of Michigan in Pontiac and Crittenton Hospital Medical Center in Rochester, Mich., have entered into a graduate medical education affiliation agreement, effective April 14, according to a Detroit News report.

The healthcare facilities will be merging their educational resources to train family medicine residents at both locations.  Doctors’ Hospital and Crittenton Hospital each have 18 positions and 24 positions, respectively, in their family medicine residency programs. Under the agreement, Lynn Orfgen, president and CEO of Crittenton Hospital, will sit on Doctors’ Hospital’s board of directors, according to the news report.
