So far, the hospital has collected approximately $4 million from hospital employees, physicians, board members and philanthropists. Construction of the new hospital is expected to cost $284 million. It will have 82 licensed beds and a universal care unit that allows the hospital to expand overnight bed capacity by another 116 beds.
