AHA Urges Senate to Reauthorize Children’s Hospitals GME

The American Hospital Association, along with three other organizations, wrote a letter to Senate leaders urging them to reauthorize the Children’s Hospitals Graduate Medical Education Program before the end of the year, according to an AHA News Now report.

The Children’s Hospitals GME Program provides funds for the training of pediatricians.

In addition to the AHA, the American Academy of Pediatrics, Association of American Medical Colleges and Children’s Hospital Association also signed the letter.
