So far, CityMD has more than 50 locations in the northeast. CityMD centers provide year-round, seven-day-a-week urgent care services.

Under the partnership, which will take effect in summer 2016, CityMD will expand CHI Franciscan’s current sites for primary and urgent care.

CityMD offers a proprietary service called Aftercare, which is staffed by physicians, clinicians and referral coordinators. After receiving care from a CityMD urgent care center, members of the Aftercare team make follow-up calls to each patient to see how they responded to treatment. If a patient needs to see a specialist, additional tests or services from a physician or hospital, Aftercare arranges the patient’s appointment.
