Virginia’s Carilion Clinic Names Nancy Agee CEO

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Va., has named Nancy Howell Agee president and CEO effective July 1, according to a hospital news release.

She will replace Edward Murphy, MD, who is leaving to work at the investment firm TowerBrook Capital Partners and to become chairman of the board of Sound Physicians. He will continue to serve on Carilion’s board and on the faculty of Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.

Ms. Agee currently serves as COO of Carilion Clinic.
