HHS Awards $130M in Grants for Healthcare Workforce

HHS has awarded $130.8 million to strengthen the nation’s healthcare workforce, according to a release by the Hill.

Funded projects include primary care workforce training, equipment to enhance training, loan repayment programs for health professionals, health career opportunity programs for disadvantaged students, and development of patient navigator services to improve outcomes for patients with cancer or other chronic diseases.
