Signature, which owns 253-bed Brockton Hospital and a multispecialty physician group, began reassessing its affiliation with Boston-based Tufts earlier this year, according to the report.
Signature will remain aligned with Tufts until a deal is finalized. Marie Gross, vice president of Signature’s business development, said the organization has a “very good relationship” with Tufts and hopes to “work with them in one form or another in the future.”
If a deal is finalized with BIDMC, Signature will likely retain a pediatric affiliation with Tufts, as BIDMC does not have a comparable pediatric arm, according to the report.
