Arkansas Cardiology Group Joins Sparks Health

Arkansas Heart Center, a four-physician cardiology group in Fort Smith, Ark., has joined Sparks Health System, also based in Fort Smith, according to a report by the City Wire.

As part of the deal, all Arkansas Heart patients will be treated at Sparks, which is operated by Health Management Associates, and the cardiologists will provide 24/7 cardiology coverage to the Cardiology Center at Sparks, according to the report.

No financial details of the arrangement were disclosed.
