AMGA Launches 2nd Phase of ACO Collaborative

The American Medical Group Association announced it will soon launch the next phase of its Accountable Care Collaborative: Transforming to a Value-Based System of Care, and is inviting interested medical groups to join the year-long program, according to an AMGA news release.

Phase two of the collaborative will focus on the fundamental organizational, systems and culture changes necessary for successful transformation to a value-based system of care, including CMS’ Shared Savings Program, the Pioneer ACO Program, commercial ACOs and other models.

The deadline to register for the new phase of the collaborative is Jan. 31, 2012. AMGA will host an information webinar on the program on Dec. 15 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. EST. To register for the webinar, click here.
