The three hospitals within Long Island, N.Y.-based East End Health Alliance have established a new physician hospital organization, according to an EEHA news release.
Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport, Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead and Southampton (N.Y.) Hospital and their affiliated medical staffs have formed East End PHO. Sixty-three physicians are currently enrolled in the PHO, which will permit physicians and hospitals to share information and monitor physician performance against evidence-based medicine.
