Colorado Springs (Colo.) Health Partners, a multispecialty physician group with two-thirds primary care physicians, and Mountain View Medical Group, a multispecialty group with offices in Colorado Springs, formed the IPA to reduce cost and improve care, according to the report.

The groups will share data systems, establish a nurse navigators division and split future costs incurred from meeting the requirements of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, according to the report. They did not merge to form the IPA.
