Designed to help sterile processing departments (SPDs)  track and trend quality defects with instrument trays, the white 8.5L x 2.5W Inch self-looping  Quality Audit Tray Label allows the end-user of instruments to report an observed tray defect by  making a tic mark in the corresponding check box, which is then returned to SPD leadership for  tracking and quality improvement purposes.

The front portion of the single-use polyethylene label allows staff to document critical information  including the doctor’s initials and name, as well as the operating room number and identified  problem. The back portion of the label features a space for healthcare workers to adhere an  instrument tracking label. The Quality Audit Tray Label is available for purchase in a case of five  hundred.

Editor’s note: this press release originally appeared on Healthmark’s website.
