Results for this Gallup poll were calculated based on telephone interviews with 1,012 adults living in the United States. According to those survey results, consumer satisfaction with healthcare costs in age brackets 18-29 and 30-49 are comparable, at 53 percent and 51 percent, respectively.
Satisfaction also seems to increase with age. Sixty-four percent of consumers aged 50-64 and 77 percent of consumers aged 65 and older reported satisfaction with their personal healthcare costs. Despite stable levels of consumer satisfaction with their healthcare costs, most respondents reported their premiums for healthcare costs have gone up a little (44 percent) or a lot (29 percent) since last year.
