Announced Sept. 9, the program was developed alongside OutCare Health, a nonprofit resource for LGBTQ healthcare, according to the announcement.
The program is available for free online and discusses how stigmas and biases affect LGBTQ patients’ physical and mental health. It also provides training on respectful terminology and community-specific health disparities.
The program will continue to be built out through the fall. It was released alongside Pride365+, a digital resource for creating supportive, inclusive spaces.
