Eli Lilly Joins CDC's Safe Injection Practices Coalition

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Foundation has partnered with Indianapolis-based global pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly and Co. to expand the CDC's Safe Injection Practices Coalition.

SIPC is a group of public health, medical and industry organizations aiming to raise awareness for both patients and healthcare providers about safe injection practices through their One & Only Campaign, which seeks to prevent potential exposure to infection from unsafe injection practices and influence the patient safety culture by emphasizing "One Needle, One Syringe, Only One Time" for every injection.
