The “True Health” pilot program will be limited to 15 businesses in the pilot stage. The community health coordinator at Healthy Acadia and a Maine Coast Memorial Hospital nurse will meet with each business to help build a custom wellness program that fits the business’ and employees’ needs. Wellness programs may include cash incentives to boost gym attendance or healthier snacks at work.
The pilot program will also offer health screenings and help identify individual goals for employees.
