Degree of Compliance to Surgical Checklists Can Affect Outcomes
Researchers discovered patient 30-day mortality was much lower in instances when there was 100 percent compliance to a surgical checklist compliance compared to instances when there was partial or no compliance, according to research published in the Annals of Surgery.
