CMS Awards $7.6M Public Reporting Contract to Lantana Consulting

CMS has awarded Lantana Consulting Group a $7.6 million, five-year contract to manage the agency’s public reporting for its Hospital Quality Initiatives.

Lantana will support measure implementation and pubic reporting through data quality assurance, website user testing and public comment tracking and response for several projects from CMS and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to a news release.

Lantana’s contract includes the following measure databases: Hospital Inpatient Quality, Hospital Outpatient Quality and Hospital Value-Based Purchasing Reporting programs, Hospital Compare and CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network.
