The new partnership between the two organizations is the most recent in a series of collaborative efforts.
“Based on the past success of our joint educational programs, we are pleased to continue our collaboration with CCO to create innovative online CME activities for healthcare providers treating hepatitis C,” said Keith D. Lindor, MD, president of the AASLD.
The new program is an interactive video module that also includes downloadable resources like reference sheets for the most up-to-date treatment regimens for patients infected with hepatitis C.
Edward King, chief innovation officer for CCO, said, “We are always delighted to work with leading professional societies and associations to meet our shared goals of supporting clinicians to achieve optimal patient outcomes.”
