The campaign, “Caring is Our Calling,” features a statewide television ad, a web-based video, patient safety issue briefs and digital and social media activities. The campaign’s 60-second TV spot is designed to inform the public about the efforts hospitals are making to ensure safer care and to empower patients and visitors to help in this effort.

The campaign also will highlight a number of initiatives underway at hospitals across the state aimed at reducing hospital-acquired conditions such as sepsis, central line-associated bloodstream infections, pressure ulcers and patient falls.
