APIC develops advanced designation program for providers

Members of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control can now apply for the status of fellow as part of a program developed by APIC’s Professional Development Committee.

The program will recognize exemplary APIC members who have demonstrated superior competency in infection prevention through certification in infection prevention and control, length of practice and academic degrees, publications and presentations, and other activities that demonstrate field experience and leadership.
