American Organization of Nurse Executives changes name

The American Organization of Nurse Executives will change its name to the American Organization of Nursing Leadership, the group announced April 11 at its annual meeting in San Diego.

The rebranding aims to clarify that AONE represents all nurse leaders, not just nursing executives.

“Today, we represent a diverse and growing field, serving leaders at every stage of their leadership journey across the care continuum,” AONE said in a video announcing the name change.
