The toolkit provides resources to encourage leadership and staff engagement, teamwork and safety culture at these facilities. It is based on principles and methods from the Comprehensive Unit-based Safety Program. It was developed during a three-year project in which long-term care facilities successfully reduced CAUTI rates.
