AHRQ-Funded Initiative Decreased Hospitals’ CLABSI Rate 41%

A national project funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality called On the CUSP: Stop BSI helped hospitals’ adult intensive care units reduce their rate of central line-associated bloodstream infections by 41 percent over two years, according to an AHRQ report.

AHRQ released a final report on the national On the CUSP: Stop BSI project, which began in 2008 and was funded by AHRQ.
