AHA Committee Releases Report on Improving Care for Vulnerable Populations

The AHA Committee on Research has published a report that outlines ways healthcare providers can improve care for dual eligibles and other vulnerable populations, according to an AHA News Now report.

The report, “Caring for Vulnerable Populations,” includes background on specific vulnerable populations and explicit examples of states’ efforts to improve care coordination. The 30-page document also outlines 12 strategies for healthcare providers to progress healthcare quality for these populations.
