6 states with lowest RN salary growth rate, 2016-17

In 2017, RNs in 12 states reported a 3 percent or more salary increase over the previous year. However, six states had less than 1 percent increase in salary, according to data from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics.

Here are the six states with the lowest increase in RN salary from 2016 to 2017.

1. Michigan: 0.02 percent
2. South Carolina: 0.2 percent
3. Louisiana: 0.3 percent
4. Massachusetts: 0.3 percent
5. Florida: 0.4 percent
6. Maryland: 0.7 percent
