5 Elements of a Large-Scale Project to Reduce CAUTIs

A large-scale, catheter-associated urinary tract infection reduction project has five key elements, according to a report in Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology.

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality-funded initiative, “On the CUSP: Stop CAUTI,” currently includes 800 hospitals working to reduce CAUTIs by 25 percent in all 50 states.
