The two healthcare providers at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital in Orlando, Fla., exhibiting symptoms potentially linked to Middle East Respiratory Syndrome both tested negative for the virus, according to a Reuters report.

The two healthcare workers came in contact with the confirmed Florida MERS patient and developed flu-like symptoms. They were told to stay home for two weeks.

Florida officials are monitoring a total of 20 healthcare workers, including the two who developed flu-like symptoms. So far, test results have turned up negative, according to Kevin Sherin, director of the Florida Department of Health in Orange County. Mr. Sherin did not specify the number of test results received, according to the report.
