New York City-based NYU Langone Health’s Rusk Rehabilitation has expanded its rehabilitative care collaboration with Centers Health Care.
The collaboration, piloted five years ago, places a dedicated Rusk physician onsite at one of Centers Health Care’s nursing care facilities. The pilot served more than 1,000 patients and saw a discharge goal rate significantly higher than the state and national averages, according to a Nov. 4 news release.
The expanded partnership adds a Rusk physician to Centers Health Care’s Amsterdam Nursing Home in New York City.
Centers Health Care is the largest post-acute healthcare continuum in the Northeast with 42 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, according to the release.
